The Sibley 500 ProTech is the flagship of our bell tent range and remains the most popular size, boasting a 5-meter (16ft 5in) diameter and offering 19.6 m² (210 ft²) of floor space. This tent combines the spaciousness and comfort of a typical bedroom with the compactness necessary for easy heating with a wood-burning stove.

Designed for use in all four seasons and a variety of climates, the Pro canvas (320 gr/m² or 9.44 oz/yd²) is both waterproof, breathable, and UV resistant. The removable bathtub-style zipper floor is made from rip-stop material and is easily detachable. On hot summer days, you can roll up the sidewalls, and the 360° mesh walls ensure complete protection against bugs during the night.

The Sibley 500 ProTech is our top-of-the-line bell tent, offering the perfect blend of comfort, durability, and innovation. With a 5-meter (16ft 5in) diameter and 19.6 m² (210 ft²) of floor space, it comfortably accommodates 4 glampers on queen beds or up to 8 campers on sleeping pads. Its design provides ample space, making it feel as comfortable as a bedroom, yet compact enough to be easily heated with a wood-burning stove.

  • ProTech Mesh Wall: 360° Bug Protection
    Traditional camp pests are increasingly a concern due to the rise of vector-borne illnesses such as Zika and West Nile. The ProTech series comes with a 360° mesh wall that attaches seamlessly to the groundsheet and canopy, creating a barrier against bugs while allowing for optimal ventilation. The mesh walls connect securely to the mesh door with heavy-duty Velcro, offering full 360° bug protection. When not in use, the mesh can be neatly stowed away with a built-in hook and loop system or completely removed for easy cleaning and storage.
  • Roll Up Side Walls and Zipper Groundsheet
    The ProTech groundsheets are thermally welded, rip-stop PVC (650 gr/m² or 19.17 oz/yd²), waterproof, and vapor-impenetrable. The ‘bathtub-style’ floor rises 4 inches, keeping you dry even in standing water. The heavy-duty zipper allows for easy attachment of the floor to the sidewalls. The groundsheet is detachable, making it easy to clean or store, and the tailgate-style system ensures easy setup and cleaning.
  • Pro Integrated Mesh Door
    The Sibley 500 ProTech includes a sewn-in, no-see-um mesh door, which provides superior insect protection. The door is designed with loops for easy tie-back when not in use.
  • Pro Guy Lines and Tensioners
    Setup is quick and hassle-free thanks to pre-attached guy lines that thread through tensioners. The nylon rope, UV-resistant guy lines, and plastic tensioners extend the tent’s life by reducing wear and tear.
  • Pro Stakes and Pegs
    Our Pro stakes are made from high-quality, nickel-plated steel and are specifically designed for high winds or challenging terrain. With angled, serrated edges, they hold firmly even in frozen or rocky ground.
  • Pro Spring-Loaded Poles
    The center pole (32mm / 1.25 inches) and door poles (23mm / 0.91 inches) are made from durable spring-loaded steel, designed for easy assembly with internal wires that guide the pole sections together.

    The Pro Canvas (320 gr/m² or 9.44 oz/yd²) offers superior durability and weather resistance. It is waterproof, UV-resistant, and breathable, making it perfect for use in all four seasons. The cotton canvas naturally swells when wet to prevent water penetration and allows moisture to escape, reducing condensation inside the tent.

    The tent is adaptable for use with a wood-burning stove, thanks to modular stove jacks (sold separately). These jacks can be easily installed to ensure the perfect stove placement for your needs.
