The Sibley 400 ProTech is ideal for 2 glampers on a full mattress or up to 4 campers on sleeping pads, offering a luxurious and durable camping experience. Building on the success of the Sibley Ultimate Series cotton canvas bell tents, the ProTech Series was designed to meet the demands of more rugged applications such as multiday festival camping, glamping, tent rentals, basecamps, bushcraft shelters, and extreme weather conditions year-round.
Engineered for Performance and Durability:
In response to customer feedback, CanvasCamp enhanced every aspect of the Sibley 400 to withstand harsher environments. The floor material is thicker, the canvas is more durable, and the poles are stronger. Even the screen material, guy ropes, and stakes are beefed up. A zip-in, zip-out mesh sidewall and sewn-in mesh door provide superior ventilation and protection against bugs, making the ProTech the highest-quality and most popular Sibley tent to date.
360° Mesh Walls:
The 360° ProTech Mesh Walls offer complete protection from insects and pests, including those that carry illnesses like Zika and West Nile. The mesh walls can be rolled up or zipped out for maximum airflow and convenience. These mesh walls, often called a double wall in the industry, are easy to install and secure, thanks to the Velcro and zipper connections that seal out bugs. When not in use, the mesh walls roll up neatly and can be stowed with the built-in hook and loop system.
ProTech Zipper Groundsheet:
The ProTech groundsheet attaches with a heavy-duty zipper and is made from thick, thermally welded, rip-stop PVC (650 gr/m² or 19.17 oz/yd²), ensuring that it is waterproof and vapor-impenetrable. The bathtub-style floor rises 4 inches to keep you dry, even in standing water. The ProTech groundsheet can be rolled up, removed, or cleaned easily, while a tailgate-style system with hooks and loops allows the wall to drop near the door for easy cleaning and added accessibility. An electrical cord gap allows power into the tent without compromising the waterproofing or insect protection.
Pro Integrated Mesh Door:
The Sibley 400 ProTech comes with a sewn-in no-see-um mesh door, which allows for extra ventilation and bug protection. Loops on both sides of the door make it easy to tie back the mesh door when not in use.
Pro Guy Lines & Tensioners:
The ProTech series includes pre-attached, UV-resistant guy lines that are threaded through plastic tensioners, making setup quick and easy. These guy lines are 5mm thick, ensuring superior strength and stability in windy conditions.
Pro Stakes & Pegs:
Designed for harsh, rocky ground, the Pro Stakes are made from nickel-plated steel, with an angled, serrated design that ensures secure anchoring, even in frozen or rocky terrain. The Pro groundsheet pegs are 50% thicker than standard pegs, providing additional durability and support.
Pro Spring-Loaded Poles:
The spring-loaded steel poles are stronger and larger than those found in the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Series tents. The center pole is 32mm (1.25 inches) in diameter, while the door poles are 23mm (0.91 inches), offering maximum stability. The internal spring-loaded wires make pole assembly quick and easy.
