The Sibley 600 Twin Pro is perfect for 4 glampers on queen beds and a full living room setup, or up to 10 campers on sleeping pads. The dual center poles and oval shape provide ample “pacing space.”
Twin A-frame Doors
The 600 Twin has both a front door and a side door. The side door includes two square mesh windows with roll-up canvas covers. The A-frame doors allow easy entry and exit while keeping the canvas at 90 degrees from the ground, preventing rain from entering the tent. The poles are spring-loaded and quickly snap together for fast setup, folding for easy takedown and storage. A rain cap covers the top pin and grommet to protect against rain. The canvas doors zip together vertically, and each door has loops and ropes to keep them open when not in use.
The 600 Twin can be combined with an additional Sibley tent through the second side door using a Sibley Connector, creating a multi-room setup.
Twin Bells and Oval Floor Plan
The 600 Twin is a combination of two bell tents connected with a ridge pole. The oval shape creates two “wings” with a central living area. The steep canvas angle and cathedral-like ceilings offer ample space for movement.
The dual center poles require two people to raise the tent. The unique shape requires even tension on all guy lines. It’s important to re-tension them as needed when the tent shifts in the breeze. Snow or ice accumulation could compromise the structure, so it’s important to monitor the weather.
Pro-Grade Zipper Groundsheet
The Pro groundsheets are attached with a zipper and made of thermally welded, rip-stop PVC (540 gr/m² or 15.93 oz/yd²). These groundsheets are completely waterproof, with a 4-inch bathtub-style floor to protect against standing water. The heavy-duty zipper and secure hooks and loops allow for easy roll-up and removal of the canvas walls for ventilation or storage. A small gap in the back zipper accommodates an electrical cord while maintaining waterproofing.
Pro Integrated Mesh Doors
The Sibley 600 Twin Pro includes two mesh doors sewn into the front and side entrances. The side door also features two mesh windows with roll-up covers. Loops on both doors allow you to tie them back when not in use.
Pro Guy Lines and Tensioners
Setting up the 600 Twin is easy with pre-attached guy lines threaded through tensioners. The Pro guy lines are made of 5mm thick nylon rope with a UV-resistant treatment and plastic tensioners for durability. The tent has 25 guy lines, and it’s important to ensure they’re all correctly tensioned for optimal setup.
Pro Stakes and Pegs
The Pro stakes are made from nickel-plated steel, designed for high winds and rocky ground. The 24cm (9.5-inch) stakes are angled and serrated for easier insertion into tough ground. The pegs for the groundsheet are round, with a hook-shaped top to keep the floor in place.
Pro Spring-Loaded Poles
The Pro poles are stronger than those in the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Series. The door poles are 23mm (.91 inch), and the center pole is 32mm (1.25 inches). Spring-loaded internal wires guide the poles together for quick assembly. The center pole includes a lanyard ring for hanging an inner tent or chandelier.
Pro Canvas
The Pro Canvas (320 gr/m² or 9.44 oz/yd²) offers superior durability, waterproofing, mold and UV resistance, and breathability, making it ideal for four-season camping. It’s double-stitched, with flat-felled seams and double-layer construction at stress points. Pro canvas lasts for years with proper maintenance and repair.
100% Cotton Canvas
The canvas is made from 100% cotton, a sustainable, biodegradable fabric. It provides natural waterproofing and breathability. The fibers swell when damp, preventing rain from penetrating while allowing moisture to escape inside, keeping the tent dry.
Windows and Vents
The Sibley 600 Twin features 9 mesh windows with zip-up covers for privacy and ventilation. There are 4 vents to maintain airflow. The wing to the left of the main entrance includes a large picture window. The side door has two mesh-backed windows, and there are 4 half-moon windows on the back wall.
Stove Compatibility
The Sibley 600 Twin Pro is compatible with a wood-burning tent stove. Modular stove jacks are available for customization, ensuring proper stove placement for optimal efficiency. The tent is not suitable for open fire pits. Always follow local fire safety regulations.
