Flex Q2 Accessory Sizes:
Poles
Flex tents resemble giant blanket forts—poles can be positioned to create a range of shapes, heights, and entrances that fit your space and needs.
Each Flex Q2 tent comes with two pole adaptor sets: one for the accessory metal poles available from CanvasCamp, and another for adapting wooden poles you provide. The set also includes pole bases for anchoring on hard surfaces or protecting wooden decks.
Modular Aluminum Pole Sets
These aluminum poles are lightweight and easy to transport. Available in two colors—aluminum and green—these poles offer great flexibility for your setup.
While aluminum poles are portable and practical, many customers prefer the aesthetic of wood or bamboo poles. Furniture-grade wooden poles add a warm, natural look and are often more cost-effective when sourced locally. Many post and pole suppliers, such as those that specialize in farm fencing, will cut custom wooden poles at a competitive price—sometimes even less than the cost of our accessory pole sets.
Using Wood or Bamboo Poles
If you choose wooden or bamboo poles, make sure to cap all interior pole ends with our dome-shaped pole tops to prevent damage to the fabric. Pole-top adaptors need to be screwed into the end of each wooden pole (wood screws are not included) to secure the pole tops in place. When assembling the clamps, avoid using the metal pole adaptors—expose the bolt that holds the clamp together. Perimeter poles must be drilled to 1.25 cm (1/2”) so that the bolt fits securely.
